I am going to have to do a background check on the M-18 Advanced TASER. I will need among other things your social security number and drivers license info for the check. There is no charge for this check.
It will be done by TASER International.
On the C2 TASER, you will recieve your TASER and have to call TASER International and do your own background check before the TASER will work. This check costs $9.95 and your TASER WILL NOT WORK until you do this check and it's activated!!!
So if you have a criminal record, don't waste your time trying to buy one of these. There will be NO REFUND on rejected background checks and I suspect TASER will notify your local law enforcement agency.
